Sleek Storm VS MakeUp Revolution Hard Day

The Storm palette was the first Sleek eyeshadow palette i brought - the start of my obsession with this fabulous brand. It has the perfect mix of daytime nudes and gorgeous darks to transform your look for evening. This is why i've chosen to compare with the MakeUp Revolution palette Hard Day which also contains a similar variety of colours.

Sleek Storm £7.99
MakeUp Rev - Hard Day £6.00
L -Sleek- Gathering storm
R- M.Rev - Say Yes
Again the MakeUp Rev palette has 6 extra matte shades which are always really handy. The shades in this palette are especially good as they are perfect as bases for any look.

L -Sleek - Snow Storm
R -M.Rev - I may as well just

L- Sleek -Perfect Storm
R- M.Rev- Its what we do best

L -Sleek - Eye of the storm
R - M.Rev - Sweet little boy
Both these palettes are really lovely. I personally think the shimmery shades are more pigmented and metallic in the Storm palette but the added bonus of the matte colours in the Hard Day palette makes this a super hard decision!! Personally i'd buy the Sleek palette as i have other bases i could use and i just dont think the shimmers are as good quality as with Sleek.

The two Salvation palettes by MakeUp Revolution (£6.00) haven't compared to the Sleek palettes as well as the cheaper palettes they do such as the Iconic's and essentials (£4.00)

Thanks for reading My Pretties <3 Have a wonderful beautiful christmas xxxx

  1. Hi. This is a great post. There is currently a 3 for 2 sale on Salvation palettes at MUR website but the shipping cost is quite expensive to Thailand so I searched for the comparison between this and the Sleek eyeshadow palettes I have. You just made my decision easier. Thank you and keep the posts like this coming!! <3
